Joel (Sona)
Sona (Joel) is a 3rd generation self taught artist based in Laredo, Texas. His medium of choice was pen and ink since his childhood but delved onto acrylic since 2018. His themes include memory, fantasy, change, humor, and compassion. His inspiration comes from his everyday life and the meaning behind many of his past experiences. He is immensely passionate about the mental health benefits that come from the expression through art and is impatiently waiting to help create blissful memories for anyone walking through the doors of Mix it!
Amy
Amy is a self-taught artist in Laredo. She is a cat enthusiast who enjoys spending her free time visiting the Best Friends For Life cat village. She has been doing art since childhood with different mediums throughout the years. Her dream is to make it big in the art world. She enjoys the excitement and love that her artwork brings others. She went to school, majoring in art with a concentration in painting. In 2023, she became a full-time acrylic and watercolor artist for her own art shop. She uses painting to help her through her hard times and hopes to show her struggles and self-healing through her paintings. She also enjoys painting cats often. She can't wait for the opportunities Mix It will bring for her and others.
Isabel (Leo)
Is a Self Taught Artist from Mexico raised in Texas. From traditional art, mixed media including balloons, glitter, murals , Leo is an advocate of creating art without boundaries.
Her passion for working in the local creative community has helped her grow tremendously as an Experimental Artist; Leo hopes to mix in well and make colorful memories at this creative art space.
Miranda
Miranda is born and raised, self - taught artist in Laredo, Texas. Her art journey began when she was only 4 years old from doing different arts and crafts, clay charms, doodles and paintings! She is super close to her Faith, and it’s what has inspired her to keep on doing what she loves with so much Grace! She loves to paint using bright and vivid colors to bring out the beauty in every piece of art. Her inspiration comes from things she loves, her Faith, books, and memories. Miranda loves to meet new people and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She can’t wait to bring continuous light to Mix It through her passion for art and sweet personality!
